Review: Liquid Case for the iPhone 3G
First and foremost, you can find a video on this product on my YouTube channel. Now, when you go form retailer to retailer, it’s hard to find very much differentiation in terms of iPhone accessories. I admit, I’m a bit of an accessory whore, but that’s only because I want the best (or the best at the time). I’m not about to tell you that the Liquid Case is the best iPhone case, however, it does hit a lot of points that make it best in it’s class.

At last, Apple has released their new headphones (in-ear and the regular ones) but there is a catch! Now it has a built in mic. Volume control and a little button to switch the songs! I cant believe it has taken Apple 4 months to release them.
Here’s what you can do with this convenient remote:
- Adjust the volume by pressing the + and - buttons.
- Control music and video playback — including play/pause and next/previous — by pressing the center button.
- Record voice memos on supported iPod models.
NOTE: NOT IPHONE COMPATIBLE :( or at leat YET!!

Apple,
In-Ear,
Headphones A quick tour of my Dock and of my Dashboard

I’ve had a hard time getting around the fact that it was so damn difficult, or at least confusing, to “save” or “share” as a file a screencast recorded with a free application called Jing. I can understand that a free program can have limited options, or that it can be not quite as good as a Shareware (and this is not true all the time), but I can’t accept such a complicated way to do a very easy task: saving a file in a human being-friendly format.
That’s the reason why I decided to switch to Screenium, that we all know. It lets me do simply the stuff I wanna do. As simple as that.
It’s a little bit CPU-intensive, certainly not ment to work on a G4-powered, 3 years and 1 day old Mac. Recording the whole screen is impossible (the result would be too laggy), but for just selected areas is fine.
This long introduction was just to let you know that from now on I’ll be making some screencast videos, from time to time.
To get started, why don’t you take a look at the stuff that are in my Dock and at my Widget (download)?
"Changing" the world of flashdrives
Matt S If you are one who constantly loses flashdrives, and always finds themselves buying new ones, then this is not for you. Please, stop reading. For those of you who have more responsibility over their drives, then let me introduce the LaCie CurrenKey Flash Drives. LaCie sells their 4Gb “Penny” drives and a 8Gb “Dime” drive as well. The penny goes for $20 USD and the Dime for $30 USD. Currently on the site they are both out of stock, but I’ll place an order so they notify me when they arrive. However, when you are paying in change, make sure you check what you are handing the cashier.
Pownce, Closing Down

Internet,
Breaking News I had just gotten my email back under my control (after being hacked, more info in future post) when I saw an email from a small internet service called Pownce. It was a great service, it just never got off the ground, really. Here’s the email that all users are receiving:
We are sad to announce that Pownce is shutting down on December 15,
2008. As of today, Pownce will no longer be accepting new users or new
pro accounts.
To help with your transition, we have built an export tool so you can
save your content. You can find the export tool at Settings > Export.
Please export your content by December 15, 2008, as the site will not
be accessible after this date.

Shutting Down The death of my perfect woman; I Want Sandy is no more
Matt S Yes folks, as of December 8th, the popular web service I Want Sandy is no more. Sandy, my lifesaver on many occasions is going to leave us forever. For those of you not familiar with this fabulous women, this free service allowed you to set up a Sandy email account. With this, you could store your to-dos, events, reminders, appointments, etc. and when the time came for a reminder, Sandy emails you a notification. The service worked very, very well. I know myself and the load of people with Sandy accounts will be very upset. However, there has been word of Twitter incorporating their ideas. I just hope they hire Sandy again. I don’t want any other woman handling my information.
Installing OSX on PC
Anthnoy G Note that this is for educational purposes only.
Hey guys, iHackyourTouch here and today I installed OSX on my Dell Demension 8400. This process has taken me quite a couple of hours after days and days of downloading the torrent needed for this. Enjoy as I show you from start to finish of my install. Also please note that this process only works on AMD or Intel computers and must be either SSE2 OR SSE3 compatible. I will be dual booting Vista and Leopard very soon which I will be making a tutorial with.
