What everyone predicted was pretty much true - except for the price. There wasn't a reduction, but an increase. Though I thought that dramatically increasing the specs on the 13 inch macbook was a great marketing ploy for those who couldn't afford a Macbook Pro but still wanted those top end specs.

I guess someone forgot to tell Apple that were in a recession..where is the budget notebook?

Dell can offer a range of sub 800 dollar laptops, they really should have made the plastic white macbook a sub 800 machine, i thought that that was a missed opportunity there
