Jon4Lakers EXCLUSIVE: iMac's to get Spec Bump and Massive Price Cuts

We like tech posts here at jon4lakers, but we love exclusives, and we're proud to bring you our first.  What you are looking at is a screen capture of an internal intranet of an anonymous apple employee.  According to our source, and the image, Apple is set to drastically drop the price of their consumer desktop iMacs within the next 3-5 weeks.  Also of note is the increase in RAM in the higher end models. Our source tells us these updates and price cuts are a lock, but the timing is unknown. He stands by his 3-5 window.  I would expect these price cuts to occur when Macbook and Macbook Pro updates happen (which we will have info on), but that is unverified at this time.  Are these price cuts enough to push you over the edge? When this image shows up on Apple's website in a few weeks, don't forget where you heard it. That's right, www.jon4lakers.com. Spread the word!

New iMacs are pretty unlikely to stick their head above the parapet at Apple’s event on 9 September.

I think this is a fake. The price per month is the same even though the prices are lower. Hm... also why is drive underlined. Looks possible as a fake.

I don't know if this is fake or not, but I did try visiting the above URL and it just took me to the normal iMac page. Obviously they wouldn't let that link be that easily viewable, but still. I hope you don't mind me posting a link to much, but it is the above link in the browser you seen in that screenshot. Just so you don't have to type it.

This is not a 'shop job. I can vouch for their authenticity. My source is solid.

I can totally see that above the price and below the price it is sort-of pixellated! I believe it was photoshopped!

Hopefully they drop the price on the Mac Pro as well. I'm torn on whether to get an iMac or Mac Pro in the future, but a price drop on the Mac Pro may make that decision easier. But in the mean time, jesus, those are great spec bumps and price drops, hopefully they are true.
